Do you want to embrace IMPERFECTION and let go of expectations and perfection?

Do you want to be in the present moment all loved up together?

Do you want honest images that truly reflect what you and your family love to do together?

Does this sound like you? If yes, book in call today!

I'VE GOT YOU, JUST COME!!
LET ME HOLD SPACE FOR YOU and your family!

BE PREPARED

All be rested and fed, including us adults!! You definitely don't want to be hangry haha. If kiddies are in your session this is super important to get food in their tummies. If it's a sunrise shoot keep them in their pjs and just pop them in the car. I'll help you when you get to us! Feel free to bring emergency snacks but hide them in the backpack and we will only bring them out as a last resort.

BE RESTED & FEd

ON YOUR shoot day

DRUNK ON adventure always

Try to be 15 mins ahead of time. I don't want to rush you, I want your session to feel free flowing and fun!

Have the car pre packed the day prior.

Pop everything in a backpack so I can wear it on my back. I want you to be free!

GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD

Be present!!
Im documenting you and the love you have for each other. By just focusing on each other and nature around you, you will instantly become more present. Listen, smell, touch, feel your senses. Don't rush the session, be in the moment.
No phones allowed!! haha! You can pop them in a back that i'll keep on my bag. Phones take everyone away from the moment. Enjoy the break from them! JUST BE TOGETHER!!

LET GO OF PERFECTION

Imperfection is my new favourite word. How good are the imperfect moments. When I look back at photos I'm drawn to my family pictures that aren't the ones when we are all looking at the camera. The ones I love are the moment of realness, of joy, of craziness, of whatever I'm going through at that time of my life.

To be able to look back at the photos and remember how you felt, the love you have for your family and a real and honest reflection of your story. Sometimes it might not all be smiles, it could be tears and vulnerability, and that’s ok.

What days do you shoot and where do you travel to?

What days do you shoot and where do you travel to?

I am located at Cronulla beach in Sydney NSW.

I shoot Tuesday to Thursday, one Friday a month and one Saturday sunrise a month.

The main areas I focus on are Cronulla and the Sutherland shire, Bondi & Eastern suburbs, Wollongong & the South Coast all the way down to Kiama, Newtown & the Inner West and all the way to the Northern Beaches & Palm beach.

I am in Byron Bay in Northern NSW & Mollymook, Milton & Huskison on the South Coast yearly so if you have a family holiday booked in at one of these spots at the same time we can shoot there at no extra travel fee.

If travel for me is more than 1.30 hour from Cronulla when I'm not on holidays in that location, it requires you to book full collection. This total spend is $2500 including gst.

What is an story-led, organic family session?

What is an story-led, organic family session?

Think less “photoshoot” and more “your family story.”

We’ll head somewhere beautiful, whether that’s the beach, a river, bushland, your favourite picnic spot or somewhere meaningful to your family and simply spend time together. We’ll explore, play, cuddle, laugh, splash, climb, collect treasures and let the moments unfold naturally.

The best photos happen when you’re making memories.

My kids never sit still…

My kids never sit still…

Perfect.

I don’t expect them to.

Children are meant to explore, climb, run, collect sticks, get sandy toes and ask a thousand questions. That’s where the magic lives.

Rather than asking your children to behave for the camera, I create space for them to simply be themselves. I have been photographing families for 20+ years now, you can trust me with every situation that arises. I approach everything from a place of calm and groundedness.

What if my child has a meltdown?

What if my child has a meltdown?

Honestly… it’s completely okay.

Tantrums, tears, shyness and big emotions are all part of childhood. There is absolutely no pressure for everyone to smile the whole time.

Sometimes the cuddles after the tears become the photographs families love the most as they are honest.

What should we wear?

What should we wear?

Choose clothing that feels comfortable, timeless and true to you. You don’t have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. If stuck for ideas choose one outfit first and then work around this one. Choose your own clothes (don’t pick your partners tee, let them pick, who cares if it’s their fav band t-shirt. The photos will turn out better if you are all just dressing how you love to dress).

I also help you on our zoom planning calls, you can send pictures prior to our call or show me on the call and i can help you.

Where do sessions take place?

Where do sessions take place?

Wherever your family comes alive.

That might be:

  • A river
  • The beach
  • Bushland
  • Sand dunes
  • A family farm
  • Your home
  • On a family holiday
  • In a cool airbnb
  • Your favourite walking track
  • Somewhere full of family memories

Together we’ll choose a location that feels like you. Im here to help always if you are stuck for ideas. With my detailed questionnaire we will plan together to make sure it speaks to your family.

What if the weather isn’t great?

What if the weather isn’t great?

Some of my favourite images have been made on cloudy, windy days.

Soft light is beautiful, and children often love jumping in puddles or embracing the elements. Most of the time we embrace the moment with whatever the weather brings but if the conditions are unsafe or the weather simply won’t work, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost.

Do you pose us?

Do you pose us?

Very little. I more direct than pose. Think of it like a director of a storytelling movie.

Instead of asking you to stand still and smile, I’ll give you little prompts and lead you to little outdoor adventures or different spaces within your home.

You might be collecting shells, racing to a tree, skipping stones, piggybacking your kids or sharing a quiet cuddle while watching the sunset.

These moments create genuine emotion.

How long does a session last?

How long does a session last?

Usually around 60–90 minutes.

This gives us plenty of time to slow down, let children settle in and capture the real moments without rushing. We can chat in-between, time for a beer if you like or to walk to a few different spots along the way.

I find kids attention spans are usually maxed out at the 90 minute point.

What ages are adventure sessions best for?

What ages are adventure sessions best for?

Every age.

Toddlers love exploring.

Older children love the freedom.

Teenagers often relax much faster because the session feels more like hanging out than posing for photos. I always let teens plan the session with you so they are really involved.

Even grandparents love joining in. Bring them a chair and let them watch your session happen and join in here and there.

What if my kids get dirty?

What if my kids get dirty?

I hope they do.

Muddy feet, sandy hands, wet clothes and messy hair often tell the best stories.

These aren’t imperfections—they’re memories.

What will our gallery look like?

What will our gallery look like?

Your gallery will feel like opening a family time capsule.

You’ll receive a beautiful mix of:

  • Quiet connection
  • Big belly laughs
  • Tiny details
  • Wide landscapes
  • Genuine emotion
  • Movement
  • The in-between moments you didn’t even realise were happening

The goal isn’t perfect photos.

It’s photographs that bring you right back to how this season of life felt.

Why storytelling photography?

Why storytelling photography?

Because childhood isn’t lived standing still.

It’s climbed, explored, splashed, collected, imagined and laughed through.

Years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what everyone looked like.

I want you to remember how it felt to be together.
