“A chance meeting in a bar in Newtown has developed into nearly 3 years of love, adventure and laughter. Together, we have committed to 7 months long distance between the UK and Australia, lived together in England and travelled Europe. We have walked through pride marches, supported each other through self discovery and encouraged confidence in being a proud same sex couple.
Our afternoon with Emma made us feel really comfortable and relaxed. She really captured our love and embraced our story perfectly. We also just had an absolute blast with her!
Even though coming out can be a scary time, we’ve found support in some of the most beautiful places and people, Emma being one of many!
There is support all around us and people who will love you for you!!
I had to move back to Australia 2 months after finally being in the same country together due to mental health. We spent 3 months apart again after an already tough 7 months long distance. This was a really rough time for both of us and our relationship.
The time difference was not in our favour in the slightest, we just wanted to hug each other and fall asleep together.
It was a strain on our relationship but we had the strength to not let the distance come between us. We supported one another through anxiety, loneliness and the unknown. We both weren’t sure when we would see each other again.
After 3 months of a lot of anxiety, I was able to re gain the confidence to make the move back to England. We were finally living together in the same time zone, and it was a dream!! ” From Drue
